Hey guys! I'm Riya Morut (a.k.a. Kaitlin). I'm very active on the Mando Mercs forums, and I'm glad you guys got this started! I'm in South Carolina for about two more weeks, and then I'll be in Virginia for the summer until I move back down here for school.

Su cuy'gar ner vod!
Glad to have you here! We hope this site will be a blessing to you! It is important to have a place that we can go to share our love of Star Wars, costuming and God with out prejudice or ridicule. This is still a young site but we are praying for it and feel that it will grow as more people come to find it.

I have always wanted to visit Virginia! Where about in Virginia? I have a friend that lives there in Petersburg or something like that.
Anywho, do you have a Mando costume or any other costume?

I'm near Richmond. Petersburg is only a few minutes away from me.

I'm working on my armor; I've got a scratchbuild helmet that's about 60% complete, and my armor is just about finished. The shoulder bells and cod piece are still in the to-do pile, as well as plates to cover my boot laces. The biggest hassle is breast plates. I'm on try no. 5. I might just give up and have Tom (Novall) help me make some metal plates!

I'm also getting in to steam punk, but it will be a while before I start one of those costumes. They require more sewing skill than I currently possess. Very Happy

Hey, Riya, nice to see you over here! Yeah, I'm guilty for this site, but as Amp (co-greeter) stated, I did it for a purpose.

We are currently going through a growth spurt, so enjoy it while it lasts...

We have expanded this ministry in several ways:

1. Our blog for devotions and updates: http://christianmandos.blogspot.com/

2. The old site: http://christianmandomercs.webs.com/

I'm working on getting more up, so any suggestions help!
